Bio of Tovia Safford
My life goal is to safely and effectively bring natural holistic healing to those seeking alternatives or compliments to Western medical practices. Having 20 years experience studying and practicing holistic healing, the creation of Mothers Touch is one expression of my knowledge and my mission.
Mothers Touch was created in response to the needs of my children and the children in my community. I regularly teach classes and offer apprenticeships. The most fulfilling of my services is Ayurvedic therapeutic post-partum home care.
I had the great fortune to have studied herbal medicine with master herbalists David Hauffman, Michael Moore, Rosemary Gladstar and the plants themselves. I deepened my understanding of ancient healing while studying Ayurveda with world renowned Dr. Vasant Lad.
My path is a unique blend of all these healings tools and my gift is to empower anyone seeking self-healing.
